More joyful living is a concept that is gaining popularity in today’s fast-paced world. In a world where stress, anxiety, and depression are becoming increasingly common, lots of people are looking for ways to live happier, deeper and more fulfilling lives.

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind and forget about the importance of joy and gratitude. We end up becoming so busy chasing success and material possessions that we forget to appreciate the little things in life, and the joy that simply being alive can bring.

As an avid trekker and mountain leader, mountain hikes and time in nature have taught me to appreciate the steps we take towards our goals, and find the beauty and meaning in the landscape as we go.

I can help you reconnect with what’s important and find ways to build more depth and meaning into the way you’re living. Supporting you to cultivate joy and gratitude by helping you focus on the present moment. Too often, we get caught up in worrying about the future or ruminating on the past, and we forget to appreciate the present moment. I can help you develop mindfulness practices and other techniques that will help you stay present and appreciate the little things in life.

We define our lives by what we’re “doing” but life is as much about “being”. When we find greater balance in our lives for both we can connect with a deeper way to live, and find greater connection with our day-to-day lives.

Destination fixation, the habit of being constantly focused on a future goal, can lessen our enjoyment of the present and the steps we’re taking to get there. Enjoy the journey, as the old adage says. I can coach you to find ways to enjoy the process as much as the destination, and build greater depth and meaning into the steps you take towards your goals.

I can’t honestly say how long I’d been living on autopilot. My life was crammed to the brim with activities and events but it all felt so superficial and empty. The trouble was, I couldn’t stop! Working with James has been the wake up call I needed. I was finally able to take stock of how I spent my time, and why (uncovering some uncomfortable trauma along the way). I’ve found the less I do the most depth I’m finding in the things I do invest time in.
